Why I suck at blogging

To all those that might occasionally read this blog, or happen to stumble upon it accidentally, I am sorry.

I am sorry that I suck.

Here’s why I suck at blogging:

1. I am unemployed. This means I spend my useless time on the computer all day. And really, after you have been Stumbling and Googling all day, the last thing I want to do is write about what I did Stumbling and Googling all day – because usually this amounts to nothing.

2. How the hell do you spell “googling?” I use this “word” all the time and every time I type it I feel like a jack ass. Googling. Googleing. Googeling.

3. I will never be as funny as Victor. It’s that simple.

4. I usually write in my journal everyday (with a PAPER and PEN). I know its all “granola” and soulful, but I think writing in a journal makes me feel better. So then sometimes I think to myself, “Why don’t I just treat my blog like it’s my journal?” Why? Because the stuff I write in my journal are things that I DON’T want people to know (although some might be interested in knowing). And after writing in my journal every day, a blog seems monotonous.

5. I miss the Evergreeners and I am in denial. I have convinced myself that I will be seeing them all at Tubs Night on Thursday – so naturally, I don’t need to blog to stay in touch. (Ugly cry)

6. WordPress, though awesomely amazing, can make me SO MAD sometimes! I am a visual person – I am also an ADD person, so when I log into WordPress and all I see is, well, words, I get so frustrated! Throw me a line WordPress! Would a few cute little image buttons be so bad? I know a great (also unemployed) designer who could hook you up with some awesome WordPress 2.0 buttons.

7. It’s hard for me to think about things to blog about, which should be apparent as I am blogging about “sucking at blogging.”

So that’s it. I am sorry I suck, but I am writing this post to let you know I am well aware of my suckiness, and to let you know that measures are being taken to reverse said suckiness.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think you ’suck at blogging’ at all!

You’ve clearly got a good eye for fun, creativity and beauty, and it’s great to have someone put a collection of stuff together for others to see.

Am I allowed to say “Thank you and best wishes with your blogging”?

I know that, with practice it will get better and better as well. So more to look forward to? I hope so.

I’m so happy you’re blogging again. I miss you so much and you need to call me back you skank-ho (that was meant in a loving way)!

    Love you, sweetie!
